Four-point resistance measuring principle theory of operation of the CD-8
CD-8的測量原理:四點電阻法
Pulses of DC current are delivered to the current injection cones of the probes,which apply these pulses to the copper in the hole being tested. The voltage contact of the probes senses the voltage drop developed across the plated copper cylinder. Using Ohm's Law, the voltage drop in the hole is used to calculate resistance of the hole. This measurement is then used to calculate plting thickness with hole diameter and board thickness determined prior to or during the measurement.
