人肺泡是由大肺泡細胞（II型/AT II）、小肺泡細胞（I型/AT I）和肺巨噬細胞等組成的。成人約有3～4億個肺泡，其是肺的功能單位，也是肺部氣體交換的主要部位。抗HT2-280小鼠IgM單克隆抗體特異性識別人肺泡II型細胞。它不會與人肺中的其他細胞類型發生交叉反應。
Anti HT2-280 Mouse IgM monoclonal antibody specific to human lung alveolar type 2 cells. It does not cross react with other cell types in the human lung. One ml of concentrated hybridoma supernatant is shipped. A 1:150 dilution provides a 'robust signal' after two freeze thaw cycles when used for IHC.
